She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on the 26th of November the 26th of November, 1986. Her father Vincenzo Barba is her mother Valerie Barba. She and her family moved from New Jersey's Point Pleasant to Jersey when she was 6. Her education was completed at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. After graduating from Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued to pursue her studies at the college. In addition, she was a player on the violin since the age 4 and was known for her role as Violin Lady. As a result of her music performances, she became known as Violin Girl. Children from her community were taught violin playing through her. Later at the age of 19 she was a contestant on the 6th season of American Idol and sang the 1976 single Free. But she was ejected from the show after achieving 16th place. She sang several songs like 'The Christmas Song as well as "Out for Blood" 2010, among others. She has also appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba became famous as an American during her time on American Idol's 6th season.
